With the help of
Erica
and Kris, I finally managed to get the old 7-bolt engine and transmission
out of the Eclipse. I've pulled away the tranny, clutch, and flywheel, and
the clutch looks plenty usable. The
Fidanza flywheel will probably need a
new friction surface, but that's for the next owner to concern himself
with; I already have a brand spanking new 6-bolt Fidanza flywheel ready to
go on the new engine.
